Sophie, gundog trainer

Sophie

Gundog Trainer

Sophie has a lifelong passion for working with animals, particularly dogs. Having grown up surrounded by animals, this naturally developed into both formal qualifications and hands-on experience in animal care and training. She holds a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, is DBS checked, fully insured and holds a Higher Distinction in Level 4 Canine First Aid.

Sophie has a particular interest in gundog training and regularly trains and competes with her own dogs Mylo the Cocker Spaniel, Indie the Golden Retriever and Hugo the Labrador. Working and training with her own dogs has given her valuable experience in developing confident, reliable working dogs using calm, fair and sympathetic training methods.

Alongside her gundog work, Sophie also has experience in agility, trick training, recall development and general obedience, allowing her to take a well-rounded and practical approach when working with dogs and their owners.
